My cat Java has diabetes and he's 20 years old. His blood glucose went down to 63 this afternoon, which is life threatening. I had it back in the normal range within an hour, but someone on the feline diabetes message board just asked me if I re-did the test to make sure it was accurate before I treated for hypoglycemia. That's a good question and should have but didn't think of it. It's so depressing. Am seeing MD next week, I think it's time for ADs
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Java, I am sorry to hear that The Cat Java is having such health challenges, and that it is wearing you down. You certainly deserve whatever support you want or need for your own state of mind.
I'm sorry about the Cat Java.
I don't work at petsmart anymore.
I was called into a meeting and asked about "the altercation" that happened yesterday. I was totally clueless and it turns out ...I instigated the altercation.I am still not clear about what I did but the new supervisor reported me and it was sensitive enough (whatever that means) that it was reported to HR.
I felt embarrassed that I had no clue what was going on and that I cried. But I gave my notice and worked until 11. The supervisor was going to becoming in and I would have to work with her. I just didn't feel comfortable.
askye, I'm sorry. That really sucks.
~ma to the cat Java.
I'm sorry askye.
That is bewildering, askye. I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry, askye.
Thanks. I feel kind of dumb for just quitting and not asking more questions but I didn't really want to find out the details and the fact it went to corporate HR immediately is just...baffling is a good word.
No, I think you did the right thing for your mental health. There was probably very little positive outcome to occur if you worked this through. Sometimes you just gotta cede the fight and walk away.
