Me too. It's easier to give up sentimental things if I know Stitch is getting them, and vw and I text all day most days comparing parental woes.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Shit I didn't say to my brother: Yes, you think that SC nominee looks fine, because you have a penis. If you didn't, you would like him much less. Also, sometimes you are a suck-up. I don't remember him being such a hall monitor as a boy, but he did always worry about How Stuff Looks much more than I ever have.(I don't know if it is more a function of my being born in a slightly more free-wheeling period, or the darker fact that my "rep" has always been kind of (Serge Kovalesky impression) and there is nothing to get attached to in that(Which is the kind of thing my mother hates me to talk about, but that's why I kind of lost it years ago, pretending I'm Just Like Everyone Else and if it said 99.9 in the gradebook maybe I could stay off the ice floe for another six months.)
I still have the fainting goat of PCs...it swoons at night but when it's on, it does its things. But I am trying to make peace with it being Beth, right, cheerful, but not long for this world.
I love that Buffistas:TNG get to grow up together and share clothes.
At one point I think flea looked at a Flickr picture of Matilda and noted that she was wearing something that had been sent from Caspar to Olivia which made its way to Matilda.
In 'so awesome even carrots love her' GF news, I had a lovely weekend with my someday DIL. She pretty much lives here now since she and son are inseparable. Saturday night she went out to dinner with DH and I since Bobby was working late. As we are sitting in the Sushi joint 20+ miles from home, without any communication, in walk her parents! They saw us and not her because of the angle and were all surprised and delighted, then saw her and laughed and joined us. I told them how much I appreciated finally having a daughter, and they are just as excited about the son they finally have. Then yesterday we shopped and cooked stuff together for football event since son was working a double shift due to same event.
She is getting promoted which may mean relocating, but they are very mature and have worked out the logistics of him changing schools and all that. All parties, parents and kids, would prefer they were closer, but all agree that the move has to happen if offered. I love that despite being mature enough to weight all the factors themselves they also value and seek the opinions of their parents. This is like parental heaven.
Also, other son is in his 4th week of working for someone other than me. Digits crossed that his 25th year is the one where he figures stuff out. Feeling hopeful.
Wow, that's awesome Laura! Yay for gf and fingers crossed for employed!son!
What wonderful news Laura!
I appreciated the support in the roughest times, and it is a joy to share the good reports.
Oh Laura, both those things bring me so much joy, just knowing how much joy they bring you.
Laura, that's really wonderful to read.
