Tea: and now my friend H has to cancel for this afternoon because she also had the stomach bug. I'm trying not to cry.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm sorry, sj. But of course the last thing you want is for germy people to come by. I hope another option presents itself. Also sending some shower~ma and painrelief~ma.
No, I don't want th to come by sick. I just wasn't prepared for this, and they're is no one else other than my inlaws who I already saw yesterday and couldn't deal with on Inauguration Day even if I wanted to see them two days in a row.
Aw, Epic. I, too, am glad that no one is hurt. It's so hard when driving becomes an issue. The entire world celebrates that my surrogate mom, who turned 90 recently, is no longer driving.
Quite apart from slower cognition, she has broken the femur of one leg...by toppling over in her bedroom...and the tibia of the other...both within one year and one day of each other.
But she's bitter. Way bitter, that she can't drive. I feel so bad for her.
I'm sending good thoughts to you both, Epic.
smonster, you've got my address, right? If you need a way-station tomorrow, my door is open.
I'll be down in front of the Air & Space museum to howdy with the Peace March folk early in the day, but dug in after that.
Tea will be on tap.
I'd love to join beekaytee's way station. Curling up and sharing space with buffistas sounds utterly divine. Where is that dang transporter?
Likewise, I want to be there, but shall be here and with Buffistas.
I would love for you to be cuddled up with the Cagster, Suzi and Laura.

Oh no, my ass is at home and glorying in it. HE is marching. More power, yo.
I'm sorry sj, that sounds miserable.
Hill, sorry to hear you are in pain.
I got my IUD place today and OWIE. Like, I thought I was prepared and I tried to breathe through it but I yelled and almost kicked my gynecologist. And the cramping started up immediately and has been pretty bad all day, so I filled the Percocet script, got ice cream and cookie dough and Deadpool, and am going to craft in front of the tv again. I'm making myself eat a pizza before I take anything or have sweets. This is NOT FUN. It'll be worth it, I hope, but... really, this is the best we have? Blah.

I feel you. OH HOW I FEEL YOU. But my pain subsided pretty quickly (manageable within 8-12 hours, IIRC, and gone by 2 days or maybe less).
But dang, my OB/GYN didn't give ME percocet. Boo.
It'll be worth it, I hope
If your period stops, it is SO extra super worth it.
