Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Things getting better~ma, smonster, and Sammie's best purr-vibes into the bargain.

You getting better~ma, omnis. Sammie is now sending her sweet, gentle purr and Harvey has joined in the vibes.

I could use some "be ok, just an upset tummy"~ma for one of the people I serve. She threw up some of her medications, including seizure meds. Pharmacist said that since the pills were no longer pill-shaped and there were no capsule bits to be seen, some of the meds were absorbed, and it was better not to try re-administering. But... I'm concerned.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thank you, WindSparrow and Sammie.

I don't have plans to leave New Orleans. I don't have plans, period. I mostly meant just walking away from the job. He ignored my offer to quit; I saw him later to get my paycheck and he gave me a hug. I had to get to the bank before it closed. I'll see him tomorrow because he's letting me borrow tools for a side job I have on Sunday, and I plan to bring it up again.

I'm watching Pushing Daisies, it's helping.

Pushing Daisies is a great choice!

Cat scan and ultrasound. Something 6cm around gallbladder and liver. Dunno what it is. More tests.

Gotown room and had some visitors! And charging cable!!!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry things are hard right now, smonster. You have a wealth of skills, and I hope you'll find a place where they can be expressed and appreciated.

Omnis_audis, I hope they figure it out and can deal with it quickly. Yay cable!

Our wings are not tired.

In GF loves carrots news, last night DH and I went to dinner at 10PM because it was the first chance we had and I wasn't cooking at that hour, at Hurricane Alley [link] which has the most awesome seafood chowder, but I digress, Tater texted and FB messaged me wondering where we were because I am always home and in jammies by 10 pm and she was worried. {{kids}}

Turkey: (as in triple post, I don't actually eat the stuff)

Also, Hurricane Alley has a doggie menu including roast beef end bits and stuff, cheese, salmon, chicken for the furry companions.

They found something!!! Cat scan and ultrasound found something on my liver. They suspect at some point a small leak from my gallbladder caused a leak that landed on my liver. A radiological assisted surgery is in the works. They will poke me with a thingy, guided by ct scan, drain the fluid, and hopefully be cured. My concern (that I didn't mention on book of face) is my possibility of malignant hyperthermia from general anesthesia. Yes, they can use different drugs. Yes they can triple clean the gear. When death is on the line, concern kinda rides high.

They started me on antibiotics last night. No symptoms in over 30 hours. But then again the symptoms were not a constant thing.

Progress!

brillig

It's being a bad season for uppity gallbladders. Which I didn't know could spring leaks!

Simple, uncomplicated resolution, OA!
