Went to doc for 2 week follow up visit. Thought I was feeling better. Walked in with a 102° fever. Doc was concerned by 6 weeks of not getting better. Thought I may be dehydrated, despite all the water I've been drinking. So she sent me to hospital for faster lab work and IV drip. Admitting doc confused by 6 weeks of reoccurring fevers; and wants infectious disease docs to take a look. They aren't available until the morning. So I'm struck in observation section until morning. I think I'm fine. Docs are concerned cause heart rate was high. Was 120 with the fever. Now that the fever is passed, down to 98bpm.
In the mean time. I'm bored. Waiting for IV bag to finish. Watching football. And wondering who choose such an ugly uniform color for Seattle to wear.
Oh. And I didn't bring a charger for my phone. Fun times. I'm ok. No worries. Just bored and annoyed
Ack! I bet if you ask the nurses someone will have a compatible charger. Is there at least wifi? Tasty popsicles?
I hope they find something easily fixable, Omnis, and soon.

The last day in 2016 that I have to be at work at 4:30 a.m. has come and gone. Woo! It always takes me at least a day to recover from those. I think I'm mostly aware of what's going on around me, today. Mostly.

The family actually called me in from reading in the other room to show me the uniforms. It was a night game and they wanted to be able to see each other if the lights went out.
I am apparently the worst when it comes to present ideas. Totally stuck on my sister because she has no hobbies or interests or anything. Also stuck on my step-dad because like most adults if he wants something he gets it. Also my kids are harder now.
Laura, is there anything that is a do, rather than a thing that your sister or step-dad might like?
Step-dad is up for doing anything, sister is not big on doing anything! I think the only thing I can give her is a gift certificate for a crew the 4 of us for a weekend doing chores for her like fixing stuff at her house because she has broken stuff.
