Home schooling? You know, it's not just for scary religious people anymore.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

kid's school is having a fundraiser tonight - at Chick-fil-a.

I have found that saying something just results in "But! Waffle fries! And Chik-Fil-A is so kid-focused!" So we don't go.

He did bring me back a pan au chocolat

All is forgiven.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I just find it hypocritical to be all global learning, respect, diversity and then support a business that is not at all about those things. And I know DW is going to flip shit. Sigh.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Laura, I am sorry to hear about the drama. So much pain all around.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Glam, you should let someone know that is why you won't be attending. They should be aware of it.

Yeah, it might not change anything because schools need money, but a surprising number of people aren't aware of CFA's affiliations. (Same with In-and-Out, although I believe they are open on Sunday).

I brought 100 items to the consignment shop, stopped by the used bookstore while waiting for my appointment to start (one book for me and two golden books for ltc), stopped at the market, and now I'm home and spoonless. I'm not doing a thing for the next couple of hours (Mom is here so I can do that).

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sounds like you didn't miss much, Jilli.

Glad you had a good experience at the dentist, askye. I am nervous about my appointment tomorrow, since it's been so long.

I have now been to the Fluevog store. It is less than a block from my symposium and I actually walked by without realizing this morning. If I doze off in sessions, at least I will dream of shoes.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My DH has a FIVE-hour dentist appointment today. He has really bad and almost dark brown teeth, due to tetracycline use when he was a child (it's a thing- [link] ). He has always hated that they look that way. Today he gets veneers to cover all of his front teeth. They cost $8k, which we have been saving for for a long time.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My friend in college had grey teeth from tetracycline. It really bugged her.

Good look to him! May his podcast/music playlist be full and distracting.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good luck David!

Glam, I would say something.
