It's for a symposium tomorrow that I'm attending, and one of the whole reasons I'm going is to network like a fiend for a new job, but… it's in the Quarter, and I am thoroughly exhausted from last night's lack of - you know what, I'm not even going to subject y'all to the laundry list. I'm skipping the reception tonight in favor of yoga or at least early bed. And I shall network extra hard tomorrow. Or something.

I have a GhostBed, not a Casper, but it's the same kind of bed. We love it. You're able to do 12 months same as cash. Totally worth it for us. The 101-day return policy was awesome.
I splurged and got a pair of Tieks. LOVE them. They're perfect for traveling. You can find pre-loved pairs on eBay for less money.

I am trying really hard to be optimistic about radio silence, remember that my agent is great about letting me know what's going on, and that the publishing industry moves at a crawl. None of that changes the fact that having a manuscript out for submission is a tortuous waiting game, and the brain raccoons are having great time playing on all of my insecurities.
