I really want the following high quality but pricey items: Joybird chairs, Casper mattress, and Tiek shoes.FB ads and podcast sponsorships! I've heard mixed reviews of the Tieks (not quality but comfort) but I think that's the nature of feet.
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I fell in love with these boots today: [link]
Sure, they're mens and about $300 more than I can spend on boots....and I have to buy a pair of winter boots soon...but look at them!
I am attempting sticky buns in honour of the GBBO finale. I'm not sure they've risen enough.
Somehow I knew that link would go to Fluevog even before I clicked on it.
The only thing that stopped me from blowing an unreasonable amount of money on a pair of Fluevogs at Steamposium (Fluevog was a sponsor, so had a big booth) was the fact that they didn't fit my chubby, muscular calves. But they're so pretty!
Those are great, Jilli, I love the skull buckles.
Fluevogs are so pretty, but I'm not willing to spend money on them without knowing how they would work over my braces.
Good lord, I need to better learn to read recipes. There's another hour rise on these buns after they've been shaped. I am never going to bed and I need a proving drawer.
I'm sleepy.
My student's explanation for having notes written on his hand during an exam was that he admits that he had the notes written there, but he didn't look at them. And I'm just frustrated, because he's been doing pretty well in this class.
UGH. I have an 11:30pm call with Copenhagen tonight, which will almost certainly be pointless. And then I have an 8am meeting with different people in Copenhagen, and my hopes of that meeting being useful are not strong.
Maybe I should spend the time between now and 11:30 doing a sewing project, instead of noodling around the interwebs. At least it would be a different flavor of eye strain?
So far, except for being in the wrong room, I love it! The color is GREAT (which we were expecting because we picked based on swatches, not internet colors), and the cushions are really nice firm memory foam.
We decided when we moved that we were going to buy furniture that would LAST, so we have a Joybird sofa, a Nest Love mattress, real blinds (not from Target or IKEA), etc. It's a lot of money all at once, but it feels good knowing we won't have to replace all of it in three years.
AND my therapist just texted me to remind me that we have an appointment tomorrow afternoon. Which I had forgotten.
