yaySteph
and glad things worked out smonster.
so our new schedules came out - that might some day take effect
we go from 6 sundays to 24 - 26 a year.
some people got some Saturdays dropped.
some people get one 4 day weekends, others 3 day ,some a two day and some one one day weekend.
two of our provisional people, aren't on the schedule. No one knows what is happening to their positions- including them.
our schedule is going to a flex schedule- and at my branch - that could mean 9.5 hour days.
I saw every single member of the reference staff lose thier train of thought at least once. ( that doesn't happen)
I don't swear -- I spent most of monday and Tuesday swearing.
I love my job, it is not my life.
I've heard work to the rule, work slow down and more.
Congrats, Teppy!
One of the BIG projects I've been working on finally made it through the milestone that has been stabinating my brain for the last 6 weeks if not more. Now I can sort of pitch it over the fence to my task managers but I know I'm going to have to hold each of their hands through their parts of this. But still - the part I was soley responsible for is DONE. (And done well, even if only by my estimation).
That doesn't sound good, beth.
Suzi, congrats! May the rest go smoothly and you receive the accolades you deserve.
Went to doc, it was my annual Gyn exam. Fastest one ever, everything seems fine, need to schedule a boob smashing.
Now I have to decide if I'm going to a reception tonight in the FQ. It's for a symposium tomorrow that I'm attending, and one of the whole reasons I'm going is to network like a fiend for a new job, but… it's in the Quarter, and I am thoroughly exhausted from last night's lack of - you know what, I'm not even going to subject y'all to the laundry list. I'm skipping the reception tonight in favor of yoga or at least early bed. And I shall network extra hard tomorrow. Or something.
Woo hoo for raise, Teppy!
I'm glad there's a solution to the sofa issue, Jess. Please let us know how you like it, because I've been considering Joybird for my next one.
I really want the following high quality but pricey items: Joybird chairs, Casper mattress, and Tiek shoes.
Why am I in argument with on someone's FB page having an argument with a stranger about libraries.

I have a GhostBed, not a Casper, but it's the same kind of bed. We love it. You're able to do 12 months same as cash. Totally worth it for us. The 101-day return policy was awesome.
I splurged and got a pair of Tieks. LOVE them. They're perfect for traveling. You can find pre-loved pairs on eBay for less money.
(Almost didn't hit post because I don't want to sound tone deaf. I just really like those items.)

Heh, you're good! I think Facebook has me pegged, because I heard of all those things from FB ads. Gonna go check the GhostBed now!
You're doing a good job askye.
