I think this Sting is a sword.
Yes, I gathered that. Just trying to be cute.
Alas, this is the sword Sting, which was very effective against snowmen, one long ago winter. Ah, those neighbors gave us a wide berth.
Ha! That's one way to keep annoying neighbors from bothering you. Did the sword turn blue? Where they snowOrcs?
"Heavy telephones", ah, yes, the sweet bygone days of smashing a bad guy upside the head with a desk phone a la Peggy Carter.
Yes, and so satisfying when you slammed them down in anger. Touching a screen does not do it at all.
I've got two pointy metal candlesticks, a cast iron skillet, and a bayonet in the sock drawer, I guess I'm good.
I keep my big maglite next to the bed. Good in case of power outages, and a hell of a weapon if someone breaks into my bedroom.
I have so many weapons in my house, both purpose-made and improvised, I wouldn't know where to start listing them. And I'm pretty sure that as out of shape as I am, I could do okay in H2H.
but seriously, there are two big knives, 6 swords, a bo, and a shotgun within 12 feet of me right now. And I'm pretty sure I remember the combo to actually get the shotgun.
Did the sword turn blue? Where they snowOrcs?
No, merely snowmen built by my beloved so that we could chop them up. Only my fingers and toes turned blue.
Where they snowOrcs?
We shall call them "snorcs".
{{{{{Laura}}}}} I'm so sorry for your loss. From everything you said it sounds like your mother was quite the woman. ~ma to you and yours.
Laura, my heart is heavy with sadness for you and your family. Blessings for peace on all your hearts and for easy passage for your mother's soul.
You are such a good and kind woman, it is evident that this world is lesser for the loss of she who made you.
Laura, I'm so sorry for your loss. But having the good memories is wonderful. Peace and comfort for you and your family.
I am going to be so glad when this semester is over. My schedule has me teaching four classes one semester and three the other semester, and this is my four class semester, plus a million things that are making it more difficult and time-consuming than usual. Thus, my bullet journal organization to try to cut down to just working one weekend day, rather than two, which I actually achieved this weekend (yay!) and I got together with Steph and Tim for brunch, which was fun. Then worked, then met up with some work friends for a knitting night which (as usual) become a complain-about-work night.
Had first extended Kardashian exposure.(Remote thing: argh) Have not have my incest button pinged so hard since my stepbrother and stepsister used to share a chair as teenagers(!)
Seriously...it's your brother, and you sign a note that says "I love you endlessly,"(Um, not on my planet) My brother and I have made up our sibling drama and I've loaned him some cash, but he'd be looking for my stroke if I wrote "Love you endlessly," Besides, what's their deal? I messed with that remote for forty minutes, punching buttons, turning off an on and otherwise padding a limited skillset and they were sitting in the same fricking *chairs*.
