'War Stories'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Damn allergies.

My knees didn't click walking up the three flights of stairs in my building.
I am teary and giggling. And I want to tacklehug JohnSweden in every single thread I see his pixels. FB just ain't the same.
I needed a pencil pouch audit. Real talk, I would have been the kid whining about how it wasn't fair that I had to work for a pencil, at least until Aims talked some sense into me. I could have used more consequences as a kid. I was good in school, and could find a plausible enough excuse for almost anything that my teacher or parents would usually give in. I still fight those instincts. Ah, pernicious perfectionism.

Somebody please COMM this.
ION, it's the day of the week when the guy working next to my shop space plays his never ending super mega ultra nonstop mix of shitty 90s dance music. Thank god for 1) Bluetooth headphones and 2) that most of my work today will not be in the shop.

SO JEALOUS.

Oh, this made me grin.

Hah, this weekend at the dance convention one of the classes I took was about turning. So she had us moving back and forth between weight on one foot vs the other, and turning a bit. And my knees cracked each time I turned. Ay!
My knees sound like tissue paper. In fact, they might be made out of it.
That means so much, smonster. Thank you. I'm a bit verklempt at seeing and missing everyone, and while things are okay with me, I've had some bleak times too. Which I could have made better just by coming here. And I will.
I do value FB for giving me little glimpses into what's going on with you folks, but it doesn't have the same flow that the board does.
Yeah, I'm another one grinning like a fool over having a bunch of lovely and much-missed friends posting here again. I hope you all stick around for a while, but even if that's not feasible, it's so good to reconnect and see you again.

Same. I do love FB for pictures, but otherwise the board is much better for the kind of conversations I'm interested in having (or, often, just reading -- though I'm going to try to participate more too).
