Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Pencil pouch audit day is genius.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That's great! I was the girl who could never find her pencil.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It's helped a lot. Their pouches are kept on their tables and they carry it with them all day. It's cut back on so much pencil finding time and wandering the room for pencils or interrupting me in the middle of lessons.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Seriously. I remember having a variety of pouches or containers of some kind to keep that stuff in, but none of my teachers ever audited them! I always had enough supplies, because I was anal as hell, but I got borrowed off of so many times, just for that reason.

It's funny. When we don't audit, my kiddos get pissy.

information libertarian

My son was (is) the kid who during pencil pouch audit would turn out to have 187 pencils in his pouch. He picks up the ones the kids drop on the ground. Once after a class field trip he came home with 7 pencils in his pocket.

I was just about to ask my mother to make the trek up here when she mentioned she had the electrician coming today. Bah. I hardly slept and I did something to my neck in the middle of the night. I'm pathetic.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Aims, I love hearing about this stuff.

I can say that I am extremely relieved that Daniel's leg does not seem to have messed up his energy level overall. That has to be a good sign, right?

Yes, that is a good sign.
