Holy shit I can't believe I'm awake. I am in awe of everyone who is up this early on the regular.

When the alarm went off I was dreaming that I worked at a crappy grocery store and I couldn't get my employee badge to work in the time clock, and I knew my boss -- Jason Momoa -- would be mad at me.

The only reason I even shared that was the Jason Momoa part. Because that was both weird and amusing.

I'm attempting to drink more coffee than a human being should, and then go battle traffic.

So while I'm driving, the therapist calls to tell me she might be a little late because her son's bus was late and she's coming from Ohio. I told her I was coming from Ohio and it was clear, but maybe not where she's coming from.

I am not making this up: she said "I'm coming from Northside."

I get up early, and like to get up early, but this morning I can't get alert. I need to start going to bed earlier.

eta: Ha! Maybe you should meet for coffee locally next time.

It would suck to have Momoa mad at you. Or even just disappointed. I think he'd wear long sleeved shirts that hid his biceps as punishment. Good luck with the appointment this morning!

Vortex's perfect world is also mine, if you replace coffee with tea. Although today I probably do need coffee. Mom just took ltc out. Maybe she'll come back with a latte.

So I broke down and ordered a big and tall office chair. I was trying to make due with the one I have but it gets really uncomfortable and I start getting pins and needles in my feet and legs when I sit in it. Which is a bad sign.

I ordered the chair yesterday , expected it next Tuesday, it was here today. So that's good.

It's really big. I knew that but I didn't measure it to see how big so it's going to dominate my room. And is actually making me eye the closet as a possible way to repurpose it as "computer nook" the desk would fit in and part of the chair so it's not the perfect set up but it would give me more floor space.

Hopefully this will be more comfortable and last longer. It was at the low end of pricing and is made for someone much heavier than I am so hopefully I won't have to buy another chair for a long time.

A comfortable desk chair is really important. I hope the new layout idea works.
