Eh, I've given up on good sleep. I just don't sleep.
It's amazing how much I can get done when I don't put the TV on. I just cleaned out and reorganized the entire pantry. I threw away a small bag of things that were old, and now o can see where everything goes, which hopefully means throwing out less stuff in the future.
Threw out what needed to be dumped from both fridges and have fed ltc lunch, which went better than breakfast.
sj, my sister in fridge clearing. I could probably do more, but I got the main stuff that needed to go out, out.
Thanks, everyone. I'm feeling a bit better today.
Also, I just got another email from my mother, saying that she found the papers for some savings bonds that she and my dad bought for my sister and me when we were kids, and then they forgot about them. Adding this together with all the other savings bonds that she's found stashed away in other places, I think I'm up to something like $10,000 of found money over the past ten years. And, I mean, that's nice, but also a bit worrying, that she keeps finding these in dozens of different drawers and folders and shelves and boxes all over the house where she put them "so that they'll be safe." She just found these because she was looking for some papers having to do with some stocks my grandfather owned (which are probably just worth a few hundred dollars, but for some reason she's still trying to figure out some paperwork related to them, more than twenty years after his death.) What else might be in a drawer somewhere?
I didn't give ltc an afternoon nap and now she is miserable.
Oh, and when I got to work this morning, I parked in the parking garage where I'm supposed to park, but the only empty spots were on the sixth floor, and the elevator was broken. So I parked in an empty spot in one of the parking lots. Then when I got back to my car, I had a ticket for parking in the wrong area. I think I'm going to appeal it.
Hil, do you have a handicap plate? If not, you should get one. There much less likely to ticket you in those situations, IME.
I don't have one. I'm going to discuss that with the rheumatologist when I see her, but that won't be until December.
Appealing the ticket turned out to be pretty easy. Just went to the website and typed in why I was parked there. Now I wait up to ten days to see what they decide.
Hi all. Can I ask for some ma? Specifically, Please don't let this be the worst possible scenario ma. (I don't remember how to get the sign in front of the ma, sorry)
