Oh, and when I got to work this morning, I parked in the parking garage where I'm supposed to park, but the only empty spots were on the sixth floor, and the elevator was broken. So I parked in an empty spot in one of the parking lots. Then when I got back to my car, I had a ticket for parking in the wrong area. I think I'm going to appeal it.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hil, do you have a handicap plate? If not, you should get one. There much less likely to ticket you in those situations, IME.
I don't have one. I'm going to discuss that with the rheumatologist when I see her, but that won't be until December.
Appealing the ticket turned out to be pretty easy. Just went to the website and typed in why I was parked there. Now I wait up to ten days to see what they decide.
Hi all. Can I ask for some ma? Specifically, Please don't let this be the worst possible scenario ma. (I don't remember how to get the sign in front of the ma, sorry)
Best~possible~scenerio~ma sent your way, Becky. (tilde in upper left corner of many keyboards)
All the ~ma, Becky!
Dear TCG, I swear if all the noise you are making wakes the baby, I'm going to lose it on an epic level.
Fingers crossed, Becky.
Also, I just got another email from my mother, saying that she found the papers for some savings bonds that she and my dad bought for my sister and me when we were kids, and then they forgot about them.
I feel like I got a few of these when I was a kid, but I have absolutely no idea what happened to them.
Much ~ma, Becky.
Much ~ma for you, Becky. And lots of purr-vibes from the cat Harvey, who is uncharacteristically staying on my lap as I type this, presumably to send you his love. As Daniel is banging about in the kitchen preparing cat food, you may see how very dedicated Harvey is to this message to you.
I used my walker today and tried to keep off my ankle, but once again, I can't sleep because it's hurting too much. This has been going on long enough that I'm starting to think it might be early-onset osteoarthritis, which is pretty common in people with EDS. So, I guess I'll ask the rheumatologist about it, when I see her. In December.
