Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Thanks, people. I'm in better shape now, but it feels like I don't dare think about the topics I was so anxious over.

I can't sleep. Ankle hurting too much. I rested it most of the day, then I thought it was feeling better enough to go to a movie and walk around a bit, but I guess not.

I'm sorry, Hil. I didn't sleep much either. It rained here, which we desperately need. So, I guess I shouldn't complain, but I was in pain and couldn't sleep because of it.

Compassionately intolerant

Big, virtual hug, Andi. And every struggling with internal and external stuff.

Much love.

My current self-soother of choice is Gilmore Girls...which I've never actually seen before. So soothing...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That definitely sounds like an anxiety attack, WS. I'm sorry, they suck so bad.

Hil and sj, I hope you get some relief and good sleep soon.

I had a relaxing if non-productive weekend, and now back at work the anxiety is creeping up on me again. Too much work, not enough time.

Eh, I've given up on good sleep. I just don't sleep.

It's amazing how much I can get done when I don't put the TV on. I just cleaned out and reorganized the entire pantry. I threw away a small bag of things that were old, and now o can see where everything goes, which hopefully means throwing out less stuff in the future.

Threw out what needed to be dumped from both fridges and have fed ltc lunch, which went better than breakfast.

sj, my sister in fridge clearing. I could probably do more, but I got the main stuff that needed to go out, out.

Thanks, everyone. I'm feeling a bit better today.

Also, I just got another email from my mother, saying that she found the papers for some savings bonds that she and my dad bought for my sister and me when we were kids, and then they forgot about them. Adding this together with all the other savings bonds that she's found stashed away in other places, I think I'm up to something like $10,000 of found money over the past ten years. And, I mean, that's nice, but also a bit worrying, that she keeps finding these in dozens of different drawers and folders and shelves and boxes all over the house where she put them "so that they'll be safe." She just found these because she was looking for some papers having to do with some stocks my grandfather owned (which are probably just worth a few hundred dollars, but for some reason she's still trying to figure out some paperwork related to them, more than twenty years after his death.) What else might be in a drawer somewhere?
