I think that was my last concert for a while. Everyone stood through the whole show. So, I could see nothing, not even the screens. But it sounded great.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
So this is adorable, my niece Sarah adopted two older dogs, a dachshund and a French bulldog who has seizures, and they're getting to where they can't keep up with her walking with their tiny little legs, so she bought them a doggie stroller! They both fit in it because they're little and they sit there and look around and wag their tails and they're so happy. So now she goes around Providence with two dogs in a stroller and it's ridiculously cute.
Sorry about the show, sj. Music must have been good to keep so many people on their feet.
Zenkitty, that does sound cute!
So my brother and E are back from vacation and there's a bit of tension between bro and Mom over boundaries.
Or more like Mom not respecting bro's GF as E's other parent. I'm not really sure but I can kind of see both sides and I'm trying to stay out of it as much as I can.
Also I need to make a doctor's appointment because I've been having some weird issues with my feet (they feel hot and tight and I've had tingling in my legs and feet off and on ) and it's not going away and I know I need to get this checked out.
Except I don't want to deal with the doctors at all.
I should have called my doctor's office this morning as they are open Saturday mornings. I got bit by something - a spider or maybe stung - yesterday. It was an instant OUCH but there wasn't anything obvious. Then it started to get a small red circle with no obvious break in the skin and would send sharp stabbing pains. Now it has a white center with a red circle, though the circle hasn't grown. It doesn't hurt as much as yesterday and I don't really know what they could do since I have no idea what got me. But I've never had something like this before. I'm just keeping an eye on it with a bandaid over it so it doesn't rub against my clothes and get more aggravated.
In the meantime, I'm working on my last paper for this class. It isn't due for a week, so I'm trying to get as much of a jump on it as possible. Go me?
Uh, urgent care, perhaps, suzi? That doesn't sound good!
Suzi, I'd go to urgent care asap with that.
Suzi, I'd get that checked out.
Sorry about the show, sj. Music must have been good to keep so many people on their feet.
Yes, the music was good. I'm just really frustrated with myself lately, and this is playing into my self hatred issue that I've been having lately. Today was also frustrating. We went to the fair in town and I was in a lot of pain, and then people kept bumping into me.
If the spot grows or changes, I'll go to urgent care. I'm not having any allergic reaction. I've carefully (oy, the pictures) done some research on bug bites/stings and nothing there is yelling that this needs immediate attention. I'd rather wait for Monday to call my doc if need be.
I wish I had a clue what got me. I walked outside when letting Jack out and had an immediate OUCH on a place covered by clothing. But at the time there as no mark, no bug, no idea how it got me. We do have wasps in the area, but there was no stinger. We have spiders, but how did it got under my shirt that fast and disappeared as quickly? Stoooopid nature.
