Compassionately intolerant

Duration of loan? 4.5 hours.

The friend came back with the dosh, filled me in on his progress for the day, promised to keep in touch and left.

Phew. And, good on him.

Thanks again, y'all!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Whew. Good for him and good for you, bonny!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

That sounds like good news, bonny. I wish him well.

askye, I don't blame you for wanting to keep your grandmother around as long as possible.

Thrive to spite them

I have an update on Grandma. She has gall stones which y'all know are painful and require surgery. But she's 96 years old and o know has a few other health issues that a relatively min or until there is surgery involved. She's in extreme pain so something has to be done. A sugrown is going to consult today.

So please send a alot of health~ma her way.

Our wings are not tired.

Much health~ma. They won't do surgery unless it is an emergency. But they are amazing at complex cases these days. Mom had pneumonia, and A-Fib, and her 95 yo organs, but they had no choice but to do the surgery for the strangulated hernia. Super scary watching her in recovery with her pulse ranging from 30 - 180! But they watched her closely and she is home now.

Her doctors are straightforward in their analysis. Yes this condition and that condition and the other condition can be managed, and the emergency surgery was a success, which is awesome. But all these parts and systems are 95 years old in Mom's case, and they really weren't created to last forever.

Sending lots of wisdom~ma to grandma's doctors, and so many wishes for pain relief. Either managing the pain, or recovery from surgery requires pain killers and they are nasty complicated drugs. Extra ~ma sent your way askye. I understand too well how stressful it is for you and the rest of her loved ones.

brillig

In every slumpy, lazy day, there comes a moment when you say "All right, this is uncomfortable, I guess I will go put on a bra."

hip deep in pie

I have never even considered putting on a bra unless I was being forced to deal with people. In related news, I bought something caftan-like recently and may never wear anything else inside my home.

Thrive to spite them

Sue I got a few caftan like things and they are amazing. Well they'd be slightly more amazing if they were made of t shirt material but I'm happy.

So I had my first interview. I don't think I asked enough questions and as soon as I left I thought of better answers. If I don't hear back by Wednesday no second interview. I'm trying hard not to think about this.
