Much health~ma. They won't do surgery unless it is an emergency. But they are amazing at complex cases these days. Mom had pneumonia, and A-Fib, and her 95 yo organs, but they had no choice but to do the surgery for the strangulated hernia. Super scary watching her in recovery with her pulse ranging from 30 - 180! But they watched her closely and she is home now.
Her doctors are straightforward in their analysis. Yes this condition and that condition and the other condition can be managed, and the emergency surgery was a success, which is awesome. But all these parts and systems are 95 years old in Mom's case, and they really weren't created to last forever.
Sending lots of wisdom~ma to grandma's doctors, and so many wishes for pain relief. Either managing the pain, or recovery from surgery requires pain killers and they are nasty complicated drugs. Extra ~ma sent your way askye. I understand too well how stressful it is for you and the rest of her loved ones.
So much ~ma for your Grandma, askye, and for you for coping.
~ma for your g'ma, askye.
In every slumpy, lazy day, there comes a moment when you say "All right, this is uncomfortable, I guess I will go put on a bra."
I have never even considered putting on a bra unless I was being forced to deal with people. In related news, I bought something caftan-like recently and may never wear anything else inside my home.
Sue I got a few caftan like things and they are amazing. Well they'd be slightly more amazing if they were made of t shirt material but I'm happy.
So I had my first interview. I don't think I asked enough questions and as soon as I left I thought of better answers. If I don't hear back by Wednesday no second interview. I'm trying hard not to think about this.
Health~ma for your grandmother, askye.
Grandma is having surgery tomorrow afternoon. There isn't much choice between that and a drainage tube and with her memory the way it is she'd need 24 hour supervision with the tube.
Dad said she keeps saying that this is the end. And I want to talk to her but I can't. I mean she can't hear well enough on the phone to sustain a conversation and it tires her out.
Keeping you and your grandma in my thoughts and prayers. They do an amazing job with these things.
Peace for you and surgical~ma for your grandmother, askye.
