Facebook kept giving me ads for a bidet attachment for a toilet, and there were a whole lot of great reviews, and it said it's easy to install and uninstall, and it was relatively cheap, so I ordered one. I forgot to factor in that, when it says "easy to install," it means for someone with decent arm strength, and that the vanity in my bathroom is right next to the toilet, so there's not really a good angle for getting leverage to untwist the thing that needs to be untwisted. I got the first part installed (the part that doesn't require plumbing, but does require removing and reattaching the toilet seat, which took me a couple tries because it isn't attached the way I'm used to them being attached), but then I think I give up for now on the plumbing part of it. (It's fairly straightforward -- turn off the water, unscrew a tube, attach a T-connector, reattach the tube, and attach another tube to the other opening of the T-connector -- but it took me about twenty tries to figure out how to get enough leverage to unscrew the tube. I could re-tighten it pretty quickly, though, so at least there's that.)
I need to remember that being the most handy person in my family doesn't actually mean that I know what I'm doing when it comes to this stuff.
Hil, if you can wait until we get back from vacation, Tim can do that for you. (And it will only make him want one more. The apartment we stayed in on our honeymoon had a bidet attachment on its toilet, and he LOVED it.)
Thanks! That would be great! (I think I can figure out how to do this myself, but if he can do it, then I'll wait for that.)
If I forget, please remind me.

(I'm just going to put it on my calendar right now.) We'll get back Sunday the 17th (or possibly ridiculously late on the 16th), so probably the following weekend will be the first chance he'll have. Is that okay?
I'll be leaving for Maine the next weekend. We can figure something out.
We may be able to run over one night. Tim's just terrible at leaving work on time. But if he has a reason he *has* to leave on time, he will. One we get back, we'll figure out an evening.
I just love watching a plan come together.
A very cool plan at that.
I love watching Buffistas helping each other out.
We're home, which took forever because of traffic. ltc has been fed and put to bed. We have had snack dinner and are watching cheesy TV. TCG goes back to work tomorrow.
WHY is it so difficult to get an appointment with a rheumatologist? First one stopped taking new adult patients. Second one stopped taking new patients with EDS. Third one will take me, but their policy is that they need to see my old records before they'll make an appointment. So, I filled out the form for the records and mailed it to my old doctor. They forwarded it to the records department. The records department, I assume, made it into a paper airplane, because the new doctor's office hasn't received the records.
