WHY is it so difficult to get an appointment with a rheumatologist? First one stopped taking new adult patients. Second one stopped taking new patients with EDS. Third one will take me, but their policy is that they need to see my old records before they'll make an appointment. So, I filled out the form for the records and mailed it to my old doctor. They forwarded it to the records department. The records department, I assume, made it into a paper airplane, because the new doctor's office hasn't received the records.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Blah. Can't sleep -- too much pain.
I'm sorry, Hil. I had trouble sleeping last night as well.
ltc is handling the lack of grandparents this morning pretty well. I think she missed her play yard with all her toys. We brought toys with us, but the play yard is positively filled with toys.
I feel like I should be getting in some exercise during the summer. But I feel silly exercising inside when it's nice out, but if I exercise outside, then people will see me.
It is way too hot to exercise outside. So exercise inside, and don't feel silly.
Yeah, what that Cincinnatian ^^^ said. I don't know what the Oakley Rec Center facility is like, in term of track/treadmills/etc., but it's super cheap to join the CRC to work out.
I've got some yoga videos I can do. If I wait until it's dark out, then I won't feel like I should be outside. I can sit outside and read while it's light out. (My plan today was to order lunch from a place down the street, then walk over there to pick it up, because I'm not even getting the usual exercise I get from walking around campus, but then it started pouring rain right when I was about to go, so I drove two blocks to pick up lunch.) Tomorrow, I will walk to the doctor's office to pick up a prescription, and then to the library to get a library card (because I keep meaning to do that and not doing it), so that will be something.
When I was a kid, my mother was pretty insistent that, if it was nice weather and daylight, then kids should be outside. I frequently climbed a tree and read there. It feels wrong to be inside if there's not, like, a hurricane or over 100 degrees or something.
Our kids run around outside too. My 6 yo nephew was here visiting and playing in the playground and swimming like it wasn't in the 90s. Me, not so much.
I was just outside reading, and one of my neighbors came back from a run.
