Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I have to figure out when I am going to do dental vacation. My neighbor went to visit family in Peru to get several thousand dollars worth of crowns for a couple hundred bucks. Another friend moved back to Ecuador last year and has said I am welcome to visit and go to his family dentist for about 5% of what is costs here. The price difference is so significant and really this is well established technology. The whole time to do it thing still gets in the way.

eta: askye, one foot in front of the other. You don't have to deal with the stress of some higher level position. Nothing wrong with part time or "teenager" positions. Bobby is making sandwiches and loving it while the politics and stress at the tech company he was at before was too much. Particularly since he needs part of his energy to be devoted to school.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG is also in the chalk teeth club. He broke a tooth the other day on a peach.

I have been so good about taking my ADs, my allergy meds, and my acid reflux meds. It would be nice if any of them were working.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

That's one hell of a peach!

Yeah, he's getting it fixed tomorrow.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I broke a tooth eating some fluffy rice, but a peach...that takes talent.

I'm in the office. We have a campus of 4 buildings and they are repaving the parking lot section by section - right now, the area under construction is the lot that is for 2 of the buildings. I'm glad I got here early because there isn't a lot of alternate parking areas.

Damn. TCG didn't get either job he recently applied for. The most recent one he found out about because of a public announcement of who the new hire is.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Maybe J. Alfred Prufrock had chalk teeth.

ltc took a three hour nap this morning! I slept for the last couple of hours of that, and we're both in much better moods as a result. Although, I still need all the tea or someone to deliver me a latte.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

So, I finally finished watching the Tony's. And it got to best play, and I was like, "I know that name." So I googled, and I knew none of the other plays he had written, but, there, at the bottom of a bio, it said that he went to my college. Which gave me a hunch, and, sure enough, he wrote the student musical my freshman year, which I worked on, and have the soundtrack and the script is probably somewhere in storage. I guess I'll have to listen to that, soon.

And, I was even wearing my college shirt today, since it covers up most of the dye stains from my fancy-hair-making yesterday.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I, somewhere, still have the soundrack (on cassette!) from the student musical at said college about 10 years earlier; mostly because one of my housemates wrote it that year.

(Also, I'm'a have to go have stern words with all the college social media which was all over Daveed's win and never mentioned that one!)
