Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Does this mean color vs coffee will become another one of those buffista debates?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I made the first of my Sunbasket meals tonight, Salmon with tomato-ginger chutney and cardamom rice. Firstly, it was delicious, especially the chutney, which I will definitely make again. Of the 11 ingredients they sent me, I had all but three of them already, the fresh ginger, the salmon, and the shallots (which I often have but didn't today). I served it with some saag-inspired chickpeas and potatoes that were leftover from the other night, which is good because my half of the meal probably would have been enough for me, but TCG would have still been hungry. Already it was bad planning to start this week on my part. TCG has a late meeting tomorrow. So, I won't be cooking tomorrow, and then we're having dinner with his family on Saturday. So, I will make a second meal Friday night, and I froze the protein for the third meal to serve early next week, I think the rest of the ingredients for the third are hearty enough that they will last until Monday in the fridge.

I would probably choose for myself based on color and regret it every time I finished my coffee and wanted four more ounces.

-t FTW. That's exactly it. Everytime I finished the coffee, I'd think "dammit, if I'd gotten the bigger one, I'd have more coffee right now"

And the refill idea is good, but I also know that I am lazy, so I would think "I'll get up in a minute and get more", and then just . . not.

Also, retweet of the day ---

Plans that only involve you, a book, and a glass of wine are still plans and you shouldn't feel guilty about telling people you're busy.

Well I suppose if you end up really disliking the color of the bigger mug you could probably find a way to redecorate it later. I'm sure Plaid makes a paint for that.

It's not that I dislike the color of the big mug; it's basic black, and the smaller one is a very pretty blue.

You got the big one, right?

Our wings are not tired.

Oh! She must be so excited. I loved seeing the boys' joy over their new tricks. Actually that still happens.
