Yeah we did the food thing, not the tuna thing I do't think we have any tuna left. But we poured food around and I even went to the bathroom. For some reason that will bring her out.
I may go outside and pour food in a bowl and see if that brings her running.
Rattled food. It brought Mom's cat to the door.
Can't leave cat food out or it'll bring racoons and possums to the door. Or maybe skunks.
I think tomorrow if she doesn't show up then it will be a more exhaustive in the house search. I think if she were trapped and able to meow we would have heard her.
Sometimes they don't meow
come on out Penny
Come on, Penny. Stop worrying your human.
Cute baby story: Mom has been singing itsy bitsy spider to ltc every time she has changed her diaper since she was born. I started doing the same with ltc when she started to become mobile because it keeps her distracted enough that she doesn't try to escape. ltc has been trying to do the hand motions for a while. Well, the last couple of days she's been doing the itsy bitsy hand motions when she needs a new diaper! I couldn't believe it when she started doing it.

What a smarty-pants she is! I love it!
Awesome go ltc! Start her on baby sign language for stuff like food and drink and more. (Well one at a time). My nephew took to it and it made our lives easier. Especialy since he was so big and would fling himself back when he was unhappy.
We've been meaning to, it's just fallen through the cracks.
From what I've heard, the Signing Time videos are supposed to be really good. There are also a bunch of books that Gallaudet publishes. (And, apparently, there are some books out there that teach signs that aren't actually ASL, which seems pointless -- if you're going to teach a baby to sign, why not teach actual signs?)
We have a book, DVD, and flash card set. We just haven't used them yet.
So what I am saying is: GET HERE.
Yes'm!
Liese, I'll be in Columbus June 30-July 4 and in Indy July 4-July 7.
Awesome! I just booked my flight home, so I'll actually be back in Arizona July 1st-3rd (musician economics: I'm paying $500 for a flight and $100 to rent a car to play a gig where I'll earn $50 which will not be paid in cash but will be applied to my rehearsal space rent, during my one day off in eight weeks)
But I'll be back for the time you're in Indy. I don't know what my day to day schedule looks like, and won't until that Sunday, probably, but once I do, I should be able to find a time to sneak out to hang! Do you have my digits?
