Dear Creepy Dad Who Came Creepifying All Over Me At Hospitality Time After Church, please stop talking. I am not gonna clock you one because you've got your 5-year-old with you and she is adorable and smitten with Matilda and a total delight, but I will secretly shiv you if you either (a) give me Sorrowful Empathy Face one more time and ask how I really, truly am, really, am I really okay, really? or (b) tell me how rough it is to be a single dad and how you just want to be respected in your parenting and be your own true authentic self and why must your ex be so oppositional?

She's one of my friends, dipshit. She is oppositional because your true authentic self is really creepy, you were emotionally and borderline physically abusive throughout your marriage, most of the people who know her have thought you were creepy for years and were quietly relieved when you moved out, and if you want her friends to not think you're quite so creepy you may want to dial back on clearly looking for any possible excuse to start badmouthing her.

I had enough gold fish for my yard expansion this morning!

Yay yard expansion! I keep missing Xerxes, but I have Sassy Fran.

ION, so tired. Long night at work, followed by getting home to an awake but very tired Peanut who hadn't eaten since I left. I packed M off to bed & nursed her down at 12, and then got up at 3 when she apparently had a bad dream (which happened again at 5:30) (she usually sleeps all the way through from 10-7). I'm curled up on the couch now, debating waking her up at her usual time (now), or letting her sleep in since her internal clock is already borked. I'll probably go with the sleeping.

I got Lady Meow-Meow yesterday, but no photo. I did get a photo of Guy Furry!
