[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I got my hair cut at the Haircuttery once, and she did a great job. As good as I've gotten from high-end salons. I'm letting mine grow out now and it's shaggy and sticking out funny. I might go back and get this mop shaped before my annual business meeting in April. Gotta look professional!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Somebody tell me I'm not being a whiny baby for going to the doctor. I had a cold three weeks ago, severe enough that I actually took a day off work. I got better, mostly but I'm pretty sure I had/have a sinus infection. After a week of using the neti pot three times a day, I thought I was improving, but the last couple of days I've had vertigo, a sore throat, and the kind of fatigue that almost put me to sleep at work. The main reason I'm going is because of almost falling asleep at work. That kind of thing would cost me not just this job, but any chance of doing this work anywhere else.

Yes, see the doctor, Andi

I went. Yup, sinus infection. NP started me on amoxicillin. And Havey is in my arms, purring up a warm and fuzzy storm.

Thrive to spite them

I got back from the urologist. Amoxicillin isn't going to work so I have another antibiotic and then after that I start on a low dose for an undetermined length of time to try and see if that helps the chronic recurring UTIs. Also I'm going to have CT scans. Just in case I have kidney stones or something. And she prescribed me something for the pain btu the pharmacy wont' have it until tomorrow.

Which is fine because tomorrow I go see my therapist and then Wednesday I see the toehr therapist and finally breka up with her. Which I haven't.

Askye, I'm shocked that no one has put you on a maintenance dose of antibiotics before this.

Thrive to spite them

No one considered it a chronic condition before. I mean I was diagnosed with the IC and I'd get UTIs but the recurring UTIs were just ... a thing. I actually started crying when the Physicians Assistant was treating it was an illness and important and not just an nuisance.

Or that I'm not doing what I should to stay healthy.

Im really glad I'm seeing my therapist tomorrow morning because there is a lot to process and when I was watching Kelly CLarkson perform Piece by Piece I had this flood of emotion and I realized that there's things about my parents divorce I haven't dealt with.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Askye-- do you take baths? Because I know a factor of my recurring UTIs way back when was the fact that I took a bath every day. I bet you know this already, but thought I'd pass it along.
