That is just so tough. all the love in my heart for you, Laura.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Laura, I'm so sorry you're all going through this. Long distance hugs and wishes for better for all of you.
Oh Laura, I'm so sorry. Much love to you all.
Hi, I've been away for weeks, good to get caught up, hello, and hugs around. One reason I wanted to come here was to tell askye that, of all the darned things, blue underpants can trigger an ic flare. Fyi. Toss the indigo if you have them!. coincidence that there's talk here about bladder stuff. I've spent so much time, money, etc. on doctors, pelvic floor physical therapists, procedures, over the last 5, 6 years, please let me share some of my hard won info?
The ic network main page is really good. [link] If you don't test positive for a actual infection, the issue might be intercystital cystitis. I notice they are using bladder wall injury. Interesting. The website has nearly everything. Self help section especially good. PT for pelvic floor, just, sometimes muscles are hyper-, not hypo- toned, can create similar problems.
Laura, I'm so sorry. Much love to you and your family.
Thanks all. It is tough, and even worse on DH since he thinks he is supposed to know how to fix things. One day at a time.
Thanks for the info Java cat. So many things can cause issues with the parts!
Laura, I’m sorry you’re going through this.
The way you describe it, though, it sounds as if maybe—just maybe—your son is trying to tell you the truth, and the drugs aren’t the real issue? Because it sounds a lot like he might have schizoaffective disorder that he is trying to self-medicate for.
{{{Laura}}} I'm sorry, it's so hard.
Laura, I'm sorry. I have no sage advice to offer, but I am always willing to listen. You should have my number, but if you don't, please let me know. Much love to you and Brendon, because I know how personally you're taking this. I hope Son #1 will find a way out that leads to long-term stability and a measure of peace.
Because it sounds a lot like he might have schizoaffective disorder that he is trying to self-medicate for.
I am SO not a doctor, but that's the first thing I thought too, when I read your description, Laura. I know from personal experience that it can be really hard to see the symptoms of mental disorder when a person's using.
