Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm feeling better. I woke up with my eyes feeling pretty much OK, so I guess that whatever it was passed.
I bought some really cute shoes from ModCloth, and they just arrived, and they're way too big. I'm trying to decide whether to keep them. I really like them, and I bought them in a 5 1/2, which is the smallest size they come in. I can get them to stay on my feet, but I wouldn't be able to run or dance in them, I don't think. Not that I do much running or dancing.
You might try putting in some cushioned insoles - it's possible that would change the fit enough to make them more wearable.
I called and cancelled my appointment. I rescheduled for Feb 1 but they called back the GP has an opening after I see the therapist so I'll se them Wed
Benefit of everyone in the same building and prctice.
I've seen the pics, sj. That is one deprived, miserable-looking child you've got there. (IOW, back off MIL).
Huh. I could have sworn I responded to this earlier, but I don't see a response. I hope it didn't randomly end up in another thread. I joked with her, "have you seen her thighs?", but she wasn't joking and kept repeating it. I was seriously pissed off.
I thought that no solid food until six months old was the standard recommendation.
There are some who still say between 4-6 months, but 6 months is quickly becoming the new standard.
I think it's kind of the MiL's job to be annoying, something about ceding the role of mother figure to the DiL makes them cranky
According to my Fitbit, I've lost 17 pounds in 16 months. Granted I wasn't really trying, but I'd like for it to go faster than that.
sj, I'm sorry your MiL is being a pain in the tuckus.
