Velcro-front s*orts bra question mark. Some exam*les here [link]
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I cannot imagine a velcro closure actually keeping a sports bra on me.
I want an alternative to a bra other than not wearing a bra.
You find that magical unicorn you let me know.
I have front-hook (about t 34 hooks, I think) sports bras I *love*. I have to replace every few months because the spandex expires, but I loooooves my bras. Target, I think, $20-ish to $30-ish. The more expensive ones don't last any longer.
They don't have cups, but clever tucks and gathers don't just squish the girls. You don't get voluptuous shaping, but they're pretty comfy, and hold you firm without binding.
I second that. Also, no wires, but they don't pop out.
I used to wear a tube top kind of thing which worked. I should get some more of them. Now I just wear camisoles and don't care about support.
The tube top solution worked for me when I was a B cup. Now I'm a DD and they need some support. I hate underwire; I'm sick of tight bands digging into my delicate flesh. I want something that doesn't bind under the bust/around the ribcage.
I haven't been able to stand wires since I was pregnant. Cupcake makes wonderful wireless nursing bras. Which is mostly what I've been using. Sadly it doesn't look like they make regular bras.
It's Saturday, which means TCG gets to play the nap game with ltc. So, of course she went right to sleep.
So, of course she went right to sleep.
Of course she did.
I haven't worn a wired bra (they should come with Bluetooth) since 2007. It's not just the wires. It's the tight band under the bust, digging in and chafing. (Please don't tell me I just don't have the right fit. I do. I've tried tighter and looser, it doesn't matter, either way after a couple hours it hurts.) I'm tired of being uncomfortable and having chafed spots. But going without is uncomfortable too. What I think would be ideal would be a sort of light compression garment shaped like a tank top, not trying to get "shaping", just enough to keep the boobs from flapping around.
