Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That's awesome, Shir. I just recommended it to someone, yesterday! Not, however, someone who will break the barrier that is heteronormativity.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm finally feeling better, and now TCG is headed home from work sick.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm finally feeling better, and now TCG is headed home from work sick.

Oh, man, I'm torn between "Your poor family!" and "Thank God he waited until you were feeling better, because there is no greater domestic nightmare than a teething baby and both parents sick."

Healing and germ-slayage vibes in abundance to TCG.

So, true.

Healing and germ-slayage vibes in abundance to TCG.

Thank you.

My aunt called me this morning apparently to let me know that I should be getting stuff done when ltc sleeps. I don't think I'll tell her that what I got done this morning was to catch up on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and what I got done this afternoon was a shower.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Seriously, she called to give you unsolicited advice about how to live your life?

People be crazy.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Those things totally count as getting things done.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Also, "sleep when the baby sleeps" is age-old (and excellent) advice.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Can I call your aunt real early in the morning to tell her to leave you alone? And that since I'm up at 5am she should be too?

Always Anti-fascist!

I could not handle being a mom on top of the other help and "help" I get.
