We also had a low key Thanksgiving, over at EM's house. Emmett was a butt for about an hour but got over it. Otherwise Matilda was happy to wallow around in his presence and spend the night there.
EM brought Matilda, all the turkey, the roasting pan and most of the leftovers over this morning. I cut Emmett's hair and he went back to school with his mom (Matilda clinging to his leg and crying as he left). But I've deglazed the roasting pan with brandy and made some homemade gravy, and now I've got the carcass and herbs and onions boiling away making stock. I do love the smell of a stock pot in November.
I have a car. With help from Dad. The first place was ugh...second place had more cars to drive and I have a 2009 Honda Fit. Low mileage. DaD is helping but the payments will be doable and the people were nice. Didn't have to go to the tag office or anything. Dad is thinking about buying a car from them.
My sister has had a couple Fits and loves them. Yay car!
Thanks. I swear it was just waiting for me. I have keyless entry now. I don't like the cup holder position but that is the only complaint. Well its another liver car. There was a blue one a year older and more mileage but it wasn't as comfortable.
I love my Fit--they're useful little cars.
My sister loves her new fit, and the puns are endless.
Liver car? Is that a color? I can't picture it
Oh it should be silver.
I'm stuck on my phone most of the time and don't always catch the typos.
I love my nephew but I was not prepared for the energy of a 7 yr old 3sp one who gets up at 5:30 am.
Few are ready for that, askye, it's not just you. I'm a parent and I'm grateful every day that my son is growing out of his 5:30 am wake up time.
