I meant to post this here instead of Natter, but I left it there too.
As upset as CJ was last night when all the crap was going down with the bf, I found out today that CJ sent the bf a text to fix the shit. Never got an answer of course.
K-Bug didn't answer when I tried to call her today. Whatever. For now, I'm over putting energy into it. If one of them wants to contact me, I'll talk but until then, no more bad energy.
Now I can move on to stress over CJ's driver's test in the morning. Some license~ma would be appreciated about 7:15am board time.
And since I seem to be on a roll. CJ came up with the idea to put the rifle in our friend's gun safe on his own. No prompting from me. As noted earlier, that is the lessor of the issues but it shows that he is trying to be a responsible person about this. Nice to have someone in this mess show some maturity.
I use a chain pharmacy, but it's a local chain, so can't easily transfer. I think my plan is to call first thing in the morning, and if the doctor's office has no satisfaction for me, go beg the pharmacist. Annoyingly, the person I talked to at the doctor's was like "Well, the best bet is probably to make an appointment". I was like "For *today*????" Seriously? ridiculous.
Thanks everyone! I figured we could use some good news around here, and a win for one of us is a win for all.
Go CJ, I hope you drive tomorrow with all the maturity you have shown about your rifle today.
meara, good luck with getting that straightened out. Not sarcastic there - with a bit of luck, the pharmacy may well float you a few days' worth. And I hope you can get an appointment quickly.
CJ is being pretty damn wonderful too.
Bupropion, Plei. Crossing my fingers that a few days off isn't bad?
Windsparrow, that's wonderful, and well-earned. Is it okay if I'm proud of CJ? That would be twice, for his "fix this" text, and for the friend's gun safe suggestion. He really is a good kid. As is K-bug, I know.
Email me. When do you leave, again?
