Harken: You fought with Captain Reynolds in the war? Zoe: Fought with a lot of people in the war. Harken: And your husband? Zoe: Fight with him sometimes, too.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I use a chain pharmacy, but it's a local chain, so can't easily transfer. I think my plan is to call first thing in the morning, and if the doctor's office has no satisfaction for me, go beg the pharmacist. Annoyingly, the person I talked to at the doctor's was like "Well, the best bet is probably to make an appointment". I was like "For *today*????" Seriously? ridiculous.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Which AD?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Thanks everyone! I figured we could use some good news around here, and a win for one of us is a win for all.

Go CJ, I hope you drive tomorrow with all the maturity you have shown about your rifle today.

meara, good luck with getting that straightened out. Not sarcastic there - with a bit of luck, the pharmacy may well float you a few days' worth. And I hope you can get an appointment quickly.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Andi, that's wonderful!

Bupropion, Plei. Crossing my fingers that a few days off isn't bad?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Windsparrow, that's wonderful, and well-earned. Is it okay if I'm proud of CJ? That would be twice, for his "fix this" text, and for the friend's gun safe suggestion. He really is a good kid. As is K-bug, I know.

Email me. When do you leave, again?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Been nodding along, so much. I ache for Suzi and for K-Bug, too. He sounds like a master manipulator and a heart that wants to love sees the good and can be suckered in. Bless CJ and his responsible head.

Andi, so proud of you and excited you've gotten some well-deserved recognition! Yay!!

My sleep schedule is so jacked right now. Tonight it was my hyper focus Internet research tangents that have kept me up this late. Twelve hours researching window hardware, with brief forays into liberal outrage hot buttons. Oy. As long as I can remember, though, I've Researched All The Things and then spit out a much condensed product. Like an owl pellet. What, I just read Wesley the Owl. It's on my mind.

Is it okay if I'm proud of CJ?

Yes. I am.

Andi - allow me to add my YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!

I was working at 1am this morning, worked close to 6 hours during my regular work time, and I'm closing in on 12 hours for the day with at least another 30 minutes to go. Wooo-hooo.

In added CJ bragging, he worked today and will be working tomorrow for my Sensei's husband who has an iron works business. CJ has been helping him install a railing on the roof of a school building. In 95+ heat. No clue what he is being paid yet, he just knows he will get something for his efforts.
