Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dammit I hate when I do stupid stuff like this. This is what my ex would use to prove I'm crazy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think you should go have a drink. And give the-ex-in-your-head the finger.

You're not crazy, I've done stuff like that.

You could have arrived at 6:50 for a movie that started at 5:20. Which might be similiar to something I've done...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Grading quizzes. The quiz has two questions, one on each side of the paper. Since I've had issues with cheating before, there are two different quiz forms, which were alternated. Someone wrote out all the work for the correct answer to question 2 on form B in the space for question 1 on form A.

So now I have a new task for moving. Both Mom and I were thinking van type thing! We'll rent one. But Uhaul's cargo vans are one way and car rental places here just dont' seeem to have them.

The smallest moving van is the 10' one , which at this point means I can take some stuff I decided not to take (not sure where it will be stored) BUT it's the only vehicle. And in the cab will be me, Mom and Penny in a carrier. I have to go look and take the carrier and see if it will fit. If not...I don't know what to do.

Expensive SUV rental and take less?

A neighbor of mine has an SUV and has a thingy she puts on the top for extra storage. Depending on the SUV you rent, maybe that would be an option?

Maybe. Mom's flying up so there's not much she can bring with her. Like she' wanted to get space bags to use for packing clothes, linens, yarn, etc. But she's ordering them and having htem sent here.Which is fine, logistics suck.

It's 8:30PM on a Saturday, and I want to be hanging out with friends and/or having fun but I"m too tired. And also thinking that I have plans tomorrow so if I did something else today I'd be too tired for the plans tomorrow. Getting old is stupid.

But Uhaul's cargo vans are one way and car rental places here just dont' seeem to have them.

Huh? Do you mean aren't one way?

Perhaps you could get a minivan or SUV from a car rental place? Though if it's one way they usually charge by the mile in addition to an amount.

I meant aren't one way.

I really need to figure out how much stuff I'm taking so tomorrow is reboxing the books. Boxing up the rest of the books. And going through things. And maybe Monday take some smaller pieces to Habitat for Humanity and talk to them about picking up donations. Maybe if there's not as much furniture I can get a better idea of what I have.

Spatial things like - how much will fit where is not my strong point.

You could also look into getting one of those pods? And just renting a regular car, or flying or train or whatever. That's how my old roommate did it (well, without the car--she flew cross country after putting her stuff in a pod).

I booked my Christmas tickets yesterday. I love my family but dear god it's expensive. What's ridiculous is that it's almost as expensive for me to get there as it is for my brother to get there from Europe! Though he generally takes enough time that he is home for three weeks or so and beats most of the Christmas traffic.

Today, I manage to reserve a car rental, and then somewhat impulsively booked at trip to DC for MLK weekend. I don't get it off, for work, but my friends there do, so...hey! (Plus, I want to see my BFF when she's hugely pregnant, and she's due in March!)
