Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

A woman almost hit Mom's car head on coming around the corner while texting. If Mom hadn't beeped, I don't think she would have ever looked up at the road.

Always Anti-fascist!

My mom had that happen once too. She still talks about it.

It was terrifying, and of course Mom and I were both more freaked out because of ltc being in the backseat.

Thrive to spite them

Penny is not a huntress. Either that or she really likes to stalk her prey. For the past day or so she's been acting weird and I finally realised...there's probably a mouse. No idea how it got in but she's been observing it I guess. I finally saw it and either she has injured it or it was just scared because it didn't move. It was hiding in a bag I dumped out because Penny was staring at it. At first I thought it was a play mouse and was like oh shit real mouse now what. Penny tapped it with her paw. I used the bag to scoop it up and put it outside. Odds are the neighbor's cat will get it but I won't have to deal with corpses or bits.

Unless there is another.

The status is NOT quo.

Paging Teppy: I took a regular small generic Claritan a few hours ago, and it just isn't touching my allergies. How bad would it be to take a Claritan D now?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Do you have any benadryl? If you do, I'd take that (you can take 2 at a time, but it might knock you out) and wait another 3-4 hours before taking Claritin D, just to space out the Claritin.

Despite what the box says, you *can* take Claritin and Claritin D twice a day for really severe allergies, but it's best to try to space them out, ideally by 8-12 hours.

It's 12-hour Claritan, not 24. Shoot. Benadryl doesn't do much for me, but I'll do that first. I'm supposed to tutor in two hours, so I don't want to fall back asleep. What I need mostly is the decongestant, which is why I'm regretting not taking the D to start with.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Can you just take a decongestant maybe? Or is that still problematic?
