Do you have any benadryl? If you do, I'd take that (you can take 2 at a time, but it might knock you out) and wait another 3-4 hours before taking Claritin D, just to space out the Claritin.
Despite what the box says, you *can* take Claritin and Claritin D twice a day for really severe allergies, but it's best to try to space them out, ideally by 8-12 hours.
It's 12-hour Claritan, not 24. Shoot. Benadryl doesn't do much for me, but I'll do that first. I'm supposed to tutor in two hours, so I don't want to fall back asleep. What I need mostly is the decongestant, which is why I'm regretting not taking the D to start with.
Can you just take a decongestant maybe? Or is that still problematic?
I ended up just taking a Claritan d. It's helping a lot and no bad side effects, so I think I'm good.
I'm not getting sick. I'm not getting sick. I'm not getting sick.
sj is totally not sick at all.
I seem to be getting sick, so I will gladly take on sj's invaders. I'm getting armored up anyway, so might as well!
I keep trying to tell myself it's allergies because I'm afraid of getting ltc sick, and I still have to be functional enough to take care of her sick or not.
I just threw up. I never do that. I've thrown up maybe 10 times since high school. There was no actual food involved, since I have been feeling a little queasy and so hadn't figured out anything appealing for lunch. What the hell was that all about?
I did have a procedure Thursday to put in a drain for this damn abdominal fluid (and that was a clusterfuck in which, among other things, they said I would be ready to leave at 3 and my poor driver had to wait until 5:30 and the heart of rush hour). I don't have a fever or anything else they warned about.
Oh Ginger, That is horrible.,I'm sorry.
