the Antiques Roadshow Keno brothers? I didn't know they were into cars. I knew about their furniture expertise. Cool!
Buffy ,'Lessons'
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm really glad the NOLA weekend was good, Nanita. It continues to give me great happiness to know how smonster and Nora thrive there.
askye, I'm glad PT is going well.
Nora, a bit of ~ma for getting the meds figured out.
Hi guys has anyone heard from Strix today?
Strix, thank you for the apology. I'm sure it wasn't easy reading all of that and I'm glad you can take it in the spirit intended. Please keep us posted.
And thanks to everyone for supporting all of us. Not that I'm around much in general, but I'm pretty gray rright now because I'm moving this weekend.
askye! Do the thing! And remember, other people's opinions of you are none of your business.
sj, I cannot WAIT to see ltc in her costume.
I am awake at four am and I'm not happy about it. Here's hoping I can get back to sleep.
Hi, smonster. I'm awake too, but I can't complain because this is the first time ltc has woken up to eat since we went to sleep.
ltc was doing tummy time and she flipped over from her tummy to her back twice. I'm so glad TCG was home today to see it.
So nice to read about the happy baby times. Looking forward to seeing ltc, and the other Buffista sprog, in their Halloween costumes.
eta: and the adult Buffistas in their costumes as well!
At this point the most I can do is at least pick up the bottle caps Penny plays with and that are strewn all over the place, sweep, and sdo some dishes.
I dont think I feel asleep until 4 am. I have so much to do and I was going to try to set up an online gaming sesion iwth some people from Second Life this afternoon but don't think that's going to work out.
Currently I've got 7 reusable grocery bags of books and dvds to take to goodwill (mostly books). I pretty much used the criteria - does this mean something to mean and will it be hard to get from the library - on what to keep. And I may be more ruthless.
I made the fuel oil delivery appointment. Need to make a call to the vet. I think I bought the wrong food for Penny. I get Blue Buffalo but there are 2 kinds in almost the same color bag....one is good for her the other...not so good.
Also on the good news, I got 6 hours of sleep (I think) but I'veonly been awake for 1 1/2.
go ltc!! She's an adorable little champ! I love looking at pictures of her on FB - she's so expressive.
I'm honored to be part of a community that handles its stuff with such humanity and clarity.
I'm not going to dive into a discussion already expressed beautifully but I wanted to 'like' this:
I often find wisdom and insight in the most unexpected places. So now I expect it.
I loved hearing Laura's story about her Christian clients. This has been my experience as a non-Chrisitan working in a lot of Christian environments.
When I was at Loyola, in a pastoral counseling program, I received so many gifts of wisdom from people I would otherwise never know/entertain.
At some point, I actually convinced myself that the following sentence I say to myself all the time was actually scripture...it is not. No idea where I got it.
"Suffer gently the fool, for he has the ear of God."
By God, I mean all/anything potentially outside what we think we know.
Mostly, it just reminds me that there is a lot of stuff that I am happy to know when I have the chance to know it, regardless of how I come to know it!
