Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm a little appalled at people who are being dicks about other people's squee.

I've had a couple of people be dicks. One was family, so I gave her crap right back. The other has dubious taste in college football teams so I can her a ton of shit about that.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm happy for anything that makes my friends happy. I'm just not personally feeling it.

Thrive to spite them

sj sorry your MIL can't see what a wonderful person you are. I'm glad you aren't playing her game.

I had my first day at Best Buy, which was interesting and kind of tiring (out of practice for standing on my feet for so long). I only did a couple of transactions, but I'll get more in tomorrow. And I don't get a headset but there was lots of chatter about the Royal Baby. One of the cashiers was keeping me informed.

hip deep in pie

I'm voting for Albert. I don't know why. I don't really care. But if I could bet, I would put my money on Albert.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yeah, I really don't get people peeing on others' thrill that isn't hurting a damn person.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The baby thing doesn't hold much interest for me, but it's not like my hobbies wouldn't cause a lot of people to make faces.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I figure its like play-offs. Lots of people care a ton and eventually the topic will change. I'll possibly tease a few personally along the way if/when they get all "play-offs like carrots".

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Exactly. You people probably get sick of hearing me talk about hockey, but you indulge me. I, in turn, indulge your passions.

I'm glad no one took what I said the wrong way.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, sj. How awful for TCG and for you. People get so twisted up in their heads, it's I fathomable. And Suzi, that goes for K-Bug's bf. May his ungrateful ass find enlightenment soon.

Shir, hope you are sleeping soundly and for a long time.

I'm like, yay baby! But don't care much beyond that.

Thanks for all the ~ma, I think that's what got me through the day. It went mercifully fast, thank heavens. Now I'm sitting at the Apple store, waiting for a Genius Bar appt. They are almost 45 min behind on the Mac appointments, apparently there's only one computer genius. I'm kind of having sensory overload and I have work to do when I get home, so I hope he will be right out as promised.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The royal birth just mainly reminds me I want to go back to England.

TCG is understandably upset tonight, but has decided that preparing for his interview at the end of the month is more important than dwelling on any of the craziness.
