"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I've known too many people who were kept in hospitals over the weekend for tests that somehow never happened until Monday.

Oh yeah, you never want to go into a hospital the Friday of a three day weekend. Unless you can avoid it.

What a clusterfuck.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I've known too many people who were kept in hospitals over the weekend for tests that somehow never happened until Monday.

Happened to my dad more than once. I mean, what the shit, they have his medical record, they can see he's had 5 heart attacks, but they make him wait from Friday until Monday to have a test to see if he has a blockage? Bullshit.

Sorry you have to deal with this, Ginger.

Ginger that sucks. I hope you found some relief in some arrangement of pillows or whatnot. :(

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I hope you got some good rest last night, Ginger.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Between the pain being better and exhaustion, I slept like a rock. This pain is weird. I don't know if I pulled something, broke another rib or if it's related to the lung. I haven't been coughing hard or anything like that.

Ginger, I'm glad you got some relief and some sleep. I'm sorry the hospital wasn't more helpful.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, Ginger, how frustrating.

What is even happening?

Ginger, I'm so glad you're so smart about you. Don't let them drag you in.

One more week of TCG working part time until he goes back full time. So far the biggest problem has been keeping myself fed. I suspect this problem will only get worse when TCG won't be hear to keep me fed in the morning hours. So, I guess I need to figure something out.
