Willow ,'Lies My Parents Told Me'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

ltc didn't wake up this hour to feed. Dare I try to sleep?

Erika, I am a firm believer in not settling.

Always Anti-fascist!

I know my mother feels like she put a ring on it too fast both times. But maybe her example has made me hold back too much.(And it's hard to know...I've missed a lot. Not that I wrote that in my profile, because even when I'm not thinking like a detective or a risk-assessment person being too open about that feels like writing "Hi! I'll make out with you, even when you steal my PIN, because I am defective and sad.(And, yes, I know that girl, too) Once you get out of your early teens, though, nobody is there to make sure that the crippled girl keeps up.(Summer camp, yes. Getting dry-humped, no)ETA: Although if crip-dating programs were as full of bull as the transition to work programs that lied to me and told me lack of paid experience was NBD and talking about my disability in a work context would be easy if I took the right light-hearted approach, maybe I'm better off anyway. But if I don't say anything...well, I'm just not like an average woman in her forties, assuming there is such a being.(Plus side: Not needing to get child support from an ass who got rich once he was out of my life.)

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Kind of catchy. I can only imagine that when Ryan undertakes his desert spirit quest, he will be informed, "Cheekiness is your gift."

And his spirit animal will be the echidna, right?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ryan stories continue to be the best.

~ma and hugs to all who need them. I've been reading along, but my brain cannot retain much information at the moment.

Mom is taking ltc for a walk, and I'm going to attempt to take a shower while they're gone.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Finished my first week of classes. Now I'm sleepy. Kind of want to sleep all weekend, but I can't, because I need to prep stuff for next week.

Our wings are not tired

I'm in denial that one of the classes I'm teaching starts next Friday. I think I have another week before the other one starts, and some meetings are starting at the third school I teach at. Thankfully I'm only teaching Winter and Spring quarters at the fourth campus.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Watching my friend on the news talking about how his roommate/tenant was secretly Air BNBing his place every time Rob went out of town. He found out because th guy got his dates wrong and Rob came home to find like 6 people in his condo. Smoking a hookah and drinking his booze.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oy brenda, I'd be pissed.

He's only been there a few months, and Rob is away a lot - part of the deal is discounted rent for dog care (and I did meet the roommate a few times at the park). That's the part that would freak me out most. So crazy.

Meantime the roofers at my Wi place foot dragged on finishing so long that now there There are storms and they have to replace the ceilings in the kitchen and all three bedrooms.
