I need to start using the whole house instead of keeping my stuff in my own little area so it didn't get lost in Hubby's stuff.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Zen -steal away! It's a cute breadbox that has a lid that comes off rather than being one that opens and closes -- but mom got it at a garage sale when I first moved up here. Everything fits and I use a pill container for the week so I only have to fish out prescription bottles once a week. Theoretically. Right now it's not being used.
I vacuumed and did 2 loads of laundry and I spent a bunch at the grocery store but I made smart choices so that's a win for me.
Under the bed can be good storage. And also some kind of coffee table/ottoman with storage built in. I have a trunk I use for a coffee table (although right now it's an under the window table) and it's at various times held: dvds, books, out of season clothes, blankets, random misc crap that needed to be stored. It doubles as furniture, except it's a little to high for using to prop my feet on but other than that it's been a useful piece. When I moved I put a bunch of stuff in it and then the trunk went in the pod so it saved space.
Work tomorrow. I don't want to go it's supposed to be in the 80s for the last part of my shift with humidity levels around 80%. Then Wednesday is going to be worse - high of 91 that day and just as humid.
I grocery shopped with the idea that my feet and hands will swell. So lots of fruit, lettuce, and lower sodium stuff and I'll be drinking lots of water. Just need to remember to turn on at least on a/c before I leave so it will be cool-ish when I get home.
My mother just joined facebook but doesn't want to friend many people. Why do I think this is going to lead to a bunch of people contacting me asking why my mother won't friend them.
I handle this by saying either "I only use it for family" or "I only use it for business" or some other variation as applies. Mostly this is used to keep away my super right wing customers that want to friend me.

That's exactly the kind I was looking at! Onto the wish list it goes.
I'm all about useful things that can also be storage. My coffee table has drawers and also lifts up for storage. My under-the-window ottoman provides extra seating at the dining table and also stores packing material. My entertainment center is this 1970s vintage enormous eight-foot-by-six-foot thing of drawers and shelves. I just love cubbyholes and boxes and hiding things away. My neuroses, I have turned them into a decorating theme.

I'm thinking some of the people she is going to want to avoid are relatives (the more distant ones). Should be interesting.
I just spent my morning cleaning up the house for a friend who blew me off, which I just knew was going to happen. I guess the house needed cleaning up anyway.
Oh, you get to rest now!
I'm picking up thessaly at 3 instead. I'm tired, but I'm also feeling lonely lately. It's better if I see people. Now to see if there is anything in the house I can actually eat for lunch.
I found an individual portion of turkey chili and an individual portion of cheesy polenta in the freezer, which hopefully will go together nicely for lunch.
