'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

askye, it's good to hear things are improving in your life. That bit about the vacation/PTO/etc. sounds like a real hassle.

Hil, I've always wanted to go to Fallingwater; you are so lucky. I've been on the official tour at Taliesin, it's relatively close to Madison. I love the way Wright's designs look, but his reliance on concrete as a building material in places where it really isn't meant for means that the infrastructure of many of his buildings sucks. There were tons of steel support rods that had to be placed in strategic locations inside Taliesin.

TCG went to get his cranky wife Mexican take-out.

But what did he get for you? And when did he get another wife?

Dear toilet,

Completely breaking on us right now is not an option.

No love,

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ugh, sj.

Someone in my neighborhood is burning wood or something, and my sinuses are extremely unhappy about this.

My feet are still huge. I know this is a normal part of the third trimester, but I need to be able to leave the house.

Thanks, Hil. This has just been the year of everything breaking in our house. It's workingish for now, but the plumber has been called.

There are so many people with fireplaces and wood burning stoves in my neighborhood. It's terrible for my asthma.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Glad that you had a good day, askye!

Not to be nosy, but just wondering when your next appointment might be? ;)

I should probably spend the next month making sure people have to deal with me as little as possible

Unlucky! We love you, so you have to deal with us.

he asshole has finally agreed to send me the pair that he owes me and I located one of the pairs I have.

If it does not happen, let me know if you want me to yell and threaten. You are growing a person, you do not need the stress.

And by people I assume you don't mean Buffistas, because that isn't acceptable.

No, I don't mean buffistas. You guys are stuck with me.

My feet are vaguely feet shaped this morning and I can sort of put on my braces. Which is good because the plumber called me back first thing and said he was sending someone over this morning. So, I'm up and dressed.
