Morgantown is home of the University of West Virginia, so may be a decent option. In my youth, it was considered a trip you planned for, from my location in southern Greene County, buy my sense of distances was quite skewed then. Being a major university town may give you better options than Wheeling.

I was planning on going out today, but it doesn't look like I can. My legs are way to swollen to get my braces on, and I can't figure out where my compression socks are. The asshole that I have been dealing with on an off at the medical supply company claims he sent me the other pair he owed me, but I never received them.

And as is so often the case, I complain here and things get fixed. The asshole has finally agreed to send me the pair that he owes me and I located one of the pairs I have. It doesn't get me out of the house now, but maybe if I wear them for a couple of hours while napping, I can get out tonight. Sorry to be so whiny all the time.

askye, it's good to hear things are improving in your life. That bit about the vacation/PTO/etc. sounds like a real hassle.
Hil, I've always wanted to go to Fallingwater; you are so lucky. I've been on the official tour at Taliesin, it's relatively close to Madison. I love the way Wright's designs look, but his reliance on concrete as a building material in places where it really isn't meant for means that the infrastructure of many of his buildings sucks. There were tons of steel support rods that had to be placed in strategic locations inside Taliesin.
