Hil, I found that little runs of donations were needed to keep me motivated, and to open up other zones for better access. But I am realizing belatedly what a crap ass job I did of cleaning up my sister's apartment, so on second thought maybe don't follow my advice.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah, it's just that both driving and walking hurt right now, so I'm trying to minimize both. Getting stuff sorted and out to the car will open up some space, and feel like I'm doing something.
I'm thinking I'll split my drive to Cincinnati into two days. The drive from NJ to PA was really excruciating pain today, and that's less than half the distance. I think I'll stop at Fallingwater on the first day, because I really want to see that, but I'll just look around the outside -- you can't see the inside unless you're on an official tour, and the official tour is over 100 stairs, which is just not an option for me right now. Need to figure out where to stay that night, then. Wheeling looks like the most obvious place, but hotels in Wheeling seem to be either crap or expensive.

You may need to stop closer to Pittsburgh to get a good mid-range hotel. That part of the world is not very prosperous outside of the urban areas, and Wheeling does not ping on my "place to appeal to travelers" memories. What roads are you taking?
What roads are you taking?
Whichever ones my GPS tells me to take. Here to Fallingwater to somewhere not too far from there for the first day of driving, and then there to Cincinnati for the second day.
Pittsburgh as the place to stop that night is a little out of the way, but not too bad. It makes the second day's drive a little longer, but if I'm hurting too much during that drive, then I can stop in Columbus for a while, or for the night if I need to. I don't actually have to be in Cincinnati until Wednesday, probably.
There ought to be decent places near Fallingwater, it is a world-class attraction. It's been a long time since I've spent much time in the old stomping grounds, and I don't remember how close Fallingwater is to the country club sections near Pittsburgh.
Ideally, I'd drive another hour or two toward Cincinnati after Fallingwater, but the only places that are in that direction are Wheeling and Morgantown. Well, totally ideally, I'd switch the positions of a bunch of states, because there's a vegan B&B and animal sanctuary in Virginia that would be really cool to stay at, but, well, physics. The states stay where they are.
Morgantown is home of the University of West Virginia, so may be a decent option. In my youth, it was considered a trip you planned for, from my location in southern Greene County, buy my sense of distances was quite skewed then. Being a major university town may give you better options than Wheeling.
Second dose of pain meds finally kicked in. Little woozy, but not in screaming pain for the first time today. Though it's just six minutes until midnight, so that doesn't really give me much of today left.
I was planning on going out today, but it doesn't look like I can. My legs are way to swollen to get my braces on, and I can't figure out where my compression socks are. The asshole that I have been dealing with on an off at the medical supply company claims he sent me the other pair he owed me, but I never received them.
