It's my own fault for ordering something like that online, but the price was too good to resist. The biggest pain was the mess it made trying to unpackage it and salvage the other items in the shipment.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hil, we have an inflatable mattress you are welcome to borrow. If the week you need it happens to be the week we're all out of town, we can leave it with Teppy or something.
Thanks. I'd need it starting this Friday or Saturday, until next Wednesday or so. (Let me get back to you tomorrow -- I need to figure out logistics when I'm a bit less pain-killer-addled. Spent a lot of time last week in Maine walking on the beach, which was lovely, but my joints are now protesting that much time walking without my ankle brace.)
I find air mattresses comfy.
That's all I got. Today was too Monday.
I also find air mattresses comfy. But I know folks who don't. Test if possible, first.
Mine too. I hate my life right now.
My poor baby girl! She came home a bit of lobster today. Ugh. Not sure how this will work out for the rest of the week, but I can't cancel her camp, plus she really liked it. Ugh.
Moving is complicated. I'm trying to figure out what to do on which day, to get the most stuff done. Right now, best plan looks like taking all the stuff that I'm planning on donating or selling or bringing to electronics recycling and just putting it all in my car, and then bringing it to the appropriate places after the movers have taken my stuff. Because that will get that stuff out of the way, but won't waste time with driving to to places, since I'll have plenty of time after the movers and not so much time before. And most of what I need to do with the before time is gather up all the junk around here and throw it away. I feel like I keep doing that. And yet, keep ending up with more scraps of paper and packaging and bags and papers and other random crap.
Hil, I found that little runs of donations were needed to keep me motivated, and to open up other zones for better access. But I am realizing belatedly what a crap ass job I did of cleaning up my sister's apartment, so on second thought maybe don't follow my advice.
Yeah, it's just that both driving and walking hurt right now, so I'm trying to minimize both. Getting stuff sorted and out to the car will open up some space, and feel like I'm doing something.
I'm thinking I'll split my drive to Cincinnati into two days. The drive from NJ to PA was really excruciating pain today, and that's less than half the distance. I think I'll stop at Fallingwater on the first day, because I really want to see that, but I'll just look around the outside -- you can't see the inside unless you're on an official tour, and the official tour is over 100 stairs, which is just not an option for me right now. Need to figure out where to stay that night, then. Wheeling looks like the most obvious place, but hotels in Wheeling seem to be either crap or expensive.
