Thank you, WS! I had a really wonderful afternoon at the museum with TCG. There was a samurai exhibit and a knight exhibit, as well as a Raphael painting on loan. I even had a delicious lunch, a sandwich with grilled vegetables, pesto, and asiago cheese, salad, and a little bit of TCG's crab cakes.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy Anniversary Beverly and your DH!!!
Happy birthday, sj!
And happy anniversary to Beverley and her dh!
This is the gin TCG bought me, made in MA if anyone is interested.
Happy birthday, sj!
Happy anniversary, Beverly!
That sounds like a lovely birthday museum, sj.
Thanks, Connie. I posted a couple of pictures to Facebook.
Happy anniversary, Bev and Bev's DH!
Fourth of July always leaves me a little cold (metaphorically speaking.) It's hot, and there's expectation of celebration, which always paralyzes me (see also: New Years Eve and St. Patrick's Day.) And I wonder if my introversion has pushed away my friends, b/c we don't have a big family/friend BBQ thing to participate in/celebrate. I just feel depressed and lonely and like a loser.
Went to Tom's therapist the other night (with Tom) and I realized that my depression is spiraling these last couple of months. I hate this feeling of hopelessness. So we talked a little bit about how all we do is watch TV while on laptops so I feel guilty that, so far, that's all we've done today.
In conclusion, I hate the 4th of July and I suck.
You do not suck. There are many people who would aspire to being a professional beer person. I know how hard it is to carve a writing niche like that, and you are my hero.
Do you have your own therapist to deal with depression?
The Fourth is my favorite holiday, because there's no expectation of doing family stuff, driving to family or cooking an entire roast beast. It's Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter that I loathe.
