Will it include cilantro?
Or olives?
I am 1000% in favor of vegan Skyline (or vegetarian; as long as it doesn't contain the flesh of anything that once had a nervous system, I'm good), though I still hesitate to call it chili.
And yay nice apartment!
Sounds like a good decision, Hil.
I have picked up the one Father's Day gift I needed to get, dropped off my computer ( but not in time to get it back today), an bought a new toilet seat. Now lunch and then more errands.
In sort-of Cincinnati news, for a while there my local Safeway was carrying Graeter's ice cream (am I spelling that right?). Limited selection - vanilla, vanilla with chocolate chips/chunks, chocolate, but still ...
and in other goodie news, there is an Oreo mint cream filled, chocolate fudge coated cookie - it's like the love child of a Peppermint Patty and a Thin Mint.
We had a meeting this morning that ended with cake & ice cream in honor of May & June birthdays. But I've been feeling kind of off most of the morning, so my first piece of cake in honor of my birthday is still sitting on my desk mocking me, and I had to stash the ice cream in the freezer (carefully disguised - it's a drumstick, which would TOTALLY get stolen otherwise). I call do-overs on today.
Though I would be interested in an olive-and-cilantro-free vegetarian chili. So there's that to look forward to.
Update: Went for a bit of a walk on my break and when I came back the cake finally started to sound like a good idea. So far, it's yummy. Maybe today's on an upswing (knock wood).
Toddson has moved us to Minkoski 5-way, which may actually present a challenge to general relativity.
See, this is why I hang out with you guys.
eta that was something I meant to post in Natter
Epic, I'm glad your day seems to be improving.
I bought cards, went to the butcher, and then picked up my computer (which was ready after all!). The market and the liquor store as well as the rest of the clean up are going to have to wait until either later tonight with TCG or tomorrow. Too tired.
I needed to go to the grocery store, but now I'm too tired. Surely soon my desire for milk and cheese will overcome my sloth.

My Safeway does not carry it, but some of the QFC's (aka Kroger) around here do...
Sloth overcome, I have groceried. Am now exhausted. I am sick of being this constantly-exhausted person. Even my sister said to me today, that I'm losing my life, I've lost part of myself. (She's not the most tactful human.
shrug
This is a known quantity.) I want me back.
