Yay, officiality!
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Woo hoo Hil!
Lots and lots of ~ma and love to those who need it. I've been keeping up as best I can, but it's a losing battle this month.
I've braved the dreaded phone and made some calls to rental agents, because no one is answering emails. Left two messages. I'll see if they respond to those.
Also, one apartment posted on craigslist that looks really good, and I've emailed twice, with no answer, and the ad doesn't have a phone number. They've re-posted the ad several times, though. Weird.
Hil glad the job is official. Hope people get back to you soon.
I had therapy. Probably a mistake on my birthday. Also a my be mistake agreeing to a late lunch with Will. I was planning on treating myself to some place on Church st and Will and I had miscommunications because that seems to be my thing lately.
Happy birthday, askye! I hope the day turns out better than you expect.
Good luck apartment hunting, Hil!
OK, I now have appointments to see three apartments, and three more people who are supposed to call me back. One of them seems a little sketchy -- it's in a really nice-looking building two blocks from Hyde Park Square, which seems like a nice neighborhood, but it's a basement apartment, so I'm not sure. But I'll look at it and see.
Two blocks from Hyde Park square, your greatest danger is probably Lilly Pullitzer fans on a rampage. (Well, there is some property crime everywhere. But Hyde Park Square is very safe. And preppy.)
My awesome doctor is 1 block (ish) from Hyde Park Square, next door to the library.
Yeah, what's worrying me is that it's a separate entrance, which seems to be in the back of the building, from the photos. But I'll go and see what it actually looks like.
Congrats on the finalized job offer, Hil! Waiting for those things sucks.
Happy birthday, askye!!
Zen, that sounds like a cool hobby. Too bad you don't live here. A lot of the campus departments have art shows that showcase local artists that rotate through every couple of months; your stuff sounds just up their alley.
