Slow deep breaths? Cool washcloths (or ice packs) on your wrists?
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Does anyone have a snuggly kitten or puppy you can hug?
Breathing isn't helping. I'll try the ice on the wrists that usually helps, I was just to anxious to think of it. I think it's partly that we're about to have a big storm and my body is being wonky.
Everyone around me has cats, which I'm deathly allergic to, so snuggling one would definitely not be calming.
which I'm deathly allergic too
Sad. Perhaps an iguana? (ceases being 'helpful')
I'm sorry, Connie. I didn't mean to sound ungrateful for the advice.
Is there something soothing you can listen to, sj? I sometimes listen to ASMR videos on youtube when I'm having trouble falling asleep. Also, listening to yoga podcasts can be really relaxing to me. I like this lady a lot:
{{sj}} I loved smonster's mention of naming the anxiety. It appealed to me since living in a named storm area it reminds me that they don't last long and are over. And I really like storms, so there is that.
How many infusions do you need to get?
I'm sorry, Connie. I didn't mean to sound ungrateful for the advice.
My dear, you are in a state of near-endless frustration with your condition. I understand.
Gut~ma for ND and stress~ma for sj! May all be well with all Buffistas, on this unaccountably sucky Monday.
I've calmed down enough to make it to my appointment. The first IV didn't take, but the second one seems to be working.
