the book looks useful smonster . Best to you and may you sister find a path.
Tim looks amazing. seriously, he looks very comfortable.
We were up at t he berkely book fest today. It was great fun. But Matt noticed - that even in Berkeley - the way girls dressed vs boys were very much gendered ( is that the word I want) . Down to the the girls wearing slipper like shoes. There was so much walking yet the girls were wearing shoes with no support. (many moms were in boots )
and askye - best to you. good for recognizing where the problem was
I really want to read the newspaper today, but my body thinks that having an anxiety attack would be a better use of my time.
I'm sorry sj. I would like to state that you body is wrong, but I am guessing that would be unhelpful.
I have nothing helpful to say , but thinking of you
Thanks, Beth. I got on the phone with my friend T and now I'm hiding in a dark room, which is helping. The Internet is telling me I should have a quiet, uncluttered room to go in to deal with anxiety attacks during pregnancy. Ha!
Just got an email from my stepdaughter gently enquiring why we don't do things together as she enjoys spending time with me and what can we do to do things together. She's an extrovert like her father, and I don't know how to say "I don't spend time with people on a general basis, and the biggest thing we have to talk about is your father, which makes me cry, and to be utterly honest I don't really like you that much," which reminds me that I can often be a horrible person. I knew her father best, and we're coming up on the one-year mark, so naturally it's on her mind, too. It's not like it would kill me to have lunch with her, a couple of hours out of a lifetime is not that big a burden.
Just here and there, I would think.
Just wanted to let people know that I got my meds today. The compromise was that instead of taking two pills a day, they give me a bigger double dose pill and I cut it in half and take half a pill twice a day. They did not need to go through all the shennigans. I have various problems but can still work a pill cutter. For people who don't have disabilities (including old age) that make this tough, it is a reasonable cost saving measure. I suspect that someone figured out that denying blood pressure meds because of a paperwork slipup was not a good idea, and found a reasonable condition they could impose as a face saving measure.
My sister informed me yesterday that she's going to start naming her panic attacks like hurricanes, which I think is fabulous and am going to adopt immediately. I swear, she could almost be the next Bloggess if she wanted, her sense of humor is viciously funny and she's got a knack for coining words.
Typo, glad they found a workaround.
Connie, that is tough. Is there an activity you might both like that wouldn't require much talking, like seeing a movie or a play or something? Bonus, automatic conversation topic.
do what makes sense , conie, including telling her that you like be alone
good stuff about your sister smonster
